Zamp: Sannino's staying

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has once again insisted that Coach Giuseppe Sannino will stay at the club.

The Rosanero were relegated from Serie A this term, going down with 32 points, winning just six games.

But the Sicilian side's chief has claimed that the tactician will still be there next term.

“We had a meeting today to discuss the basics,” he told StadioNews. “We have to win the League next season, so we need to plan for everything in the fullest.

“We talked about the market, but on Monday we'll define a proper strategy.

“We have not discussed his farewell – Giuseppe has another year on his contract.

“I do not understand why you keep talking about this – he will stay with us.”
