Joaquin’s agent admits he “cannot hide” interest from Fiorentina, but assured they’ll wait until Malaga have concluded their campaign.
Reports circulated in Italy this morning that the 31-year-old midfielder had agreed terms for a €3m transfer.
“I don’t know what rumours are in Italy. We want to respect Malaga’s situation, as they are going into an important match,” agent Eduardo Espejo told La Opinion.
“In any case, we cannot hide either. Right now the player is concentrated on achieving the seasonal objective with his club.
“He is very fond of the fans and the club, so hopes to end with a victory. When the season is over, then we will talk about his future.”
