While Fabio Capello says Milan should keep Massimiliano Allegri, the Coach considers rejecting Roma and PSG to take a year off.

The crunch meeting between President Silvio Berlusconi, Vice-President Adriano Galliani and Allegri was meant to be on Monday, but has now been postponed until Thursday.

The situation is going on for longer than expected, so offers from Roma and Paris Saint-Germain are also beginning to cool.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the latest rumours are that Allegri would prefer to take a year off if he is fired by the Rossoneri.

He has another year left to run on his contract, but is only prepared to stay on at San Siro if he receives the full backing of President Berlusconi.

“I already said that Allegri is an excellent Coach,” commented Russia manager Capello.

“He has done very well and without doubt deserves to be confirmed on the Milan bench. However, Presidents evaluate things differently and so it is normal Berlusconi will want to make his decision.”
