Bologna midfielder Michele Pazienza has come to the defence of Pablo Osvaldo after the Roma forward was dropped from the Italy squad.
Cesare Prandelli left out the Giallorossi striker from his Confederation Cup squad after he openly criticised Aurelio Andreazzoli following his exclusion from the Coppa Italia final starting XI.
But his former Fiorentina teammate has insisted that the 27-year-old just needs a Coach who 'understands him'.
“Osvaldo is a great player,” he told Radio Crc. “I'm sure he could play for the top two teams.
“From a character point of view, he just needs a Coach who can handle him and understand him.
“Personally I want to stay in Bologna, but in football you never know.”
