The Coach made the final cut from the long-list of 28 players for the tournament in Israel, leaving behind Baselli, Fedato, Frascatore, Romagnoli and Jacopo Sala.

Among the star names representing the Azzurrini will be Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, Paris Saint-Germain sensation Marco Verratti, Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, Roma’s Mattia Destro and Ciro Immobile of Genoa.

The team flies out to Tel Aviv on Saturday morning and the first game is against England on Wednesday June 5.
