Milan have reportedly communicated to Barcelona that they will not be taking up their option to sign Bojan Krkic outright this summer.
The Rossoneri last year took on the second year of Roma’s original two-season loan deal for the young striker from the Camp Nou outfit.
Reports as the season drew to a close were that, despite a minimal impact at San Siro, Milan were keen to make his move permanent, but only if the €15m purchase amount agreed last summer with Barca was dropped to €5m.
However, following on from rumours yesterday, Sky Sport 24 are running the line that Milan have made clear that their intention is to not sign 22-year-old.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani reportedly informed Barcelona President Sandro Rosell of the Italians’ decision yesterday.
