Udinese have officially announced that Christian Giaretta will be their new sporting director as of next season.
Fabrizio Larini confirmed he would step down from the post at the Zebrette this summer, but the Friuli side have confirmed today that the former Novara man will come in as an intermediary between the management and the board.
A statement on the club's website read: “Udinese can announce that, from July 1 2013, Christian Giaretta will take the role of sporting director.
We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Mr. Giaretta and welcome him to Stadio Friuli.”
