Abdoulay Konko's agent has confirmed that his client wants to stay at Lazio despite rumours of interest from Inter.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri in recent weeks, but the Biancocelesti defender's representative has insisted that those stories are false.
“To my knowledge there have been no negotiations with Inter,” Daniele Conte told itasportpress.it.
“Obviously, it's nice to be appreciated by other teams, but Abdoulay is happy in Rome.
“He is still has a long contract that doesn't end until 2017.
“Hopefully is he continues to play at such a high level, then he can aspire to a place in the French national team for next year's World Cup.”
