Cagliari have started work in the summer transfer window by reportedly exercising a right to make permanent Danilo Fernando Avelar’s loan.
The Brazilian has proven a regular and reliable feature for the Sardinians during a season-long loan deal from Ukrainian outfit Karpaty Lviv, so much so that both Milan and Catania have reportedly taken an interest.
However, Cagliari have made the first move and redeemed the 23-year-old’s full rights.
The club’s sporting director Francesco Marroccu had recently suggested that their intention this summer is to keep hold of the left-back.
