Newly promoted Sassuolo have confirmed that promising youngster Domenico Berardi will remain for the 2013-14 campaign.
The 18-year-old attacker has caught the attention of a number of big clubs, especially Italian champions Juventus.
“There is no agreement with Juventus,” Sassuolo director general Nereo Bonato told Sport Italia. “We’ll see what happens in this market session.
“A lot of clubs like Berardi, but I can assure you that he will remain here with us.”
Reports have suggested that Juventus will make a move for the youngster, but allow him to remain at his present club for next season.
