Giampaolo set for Brescia

Marco Giampaolo is expected to be named as the new Coach of Serie B outfit Brescia.

The 45-year-old is set to be handed control of the side given that current boss Alessandro Calori will leave when his contract expires this month.

Giampaolo, a former boss of Ascoli, Cagliari, Siena and Catania, hasn’t worked since he was sacked in October 2011 by Cesena.

Brescia reached the Serie B play-offs this season, but the last promotion spot was eventually gained by Livorno.

Calori is being paired with Spezia and Chievo.
