Roma turn to Mancini?

Roma are still unconvinced by Laurent Blanc and reports are growing that they’re in talks with Roberto Mancini.

The Giallorossi have run into problems looking to replace Aurelio Andreazzoli on the bench, as first choice Massimiliano Allegri opted to stay at Milan.

Blanc had seemed to be just hours away from being announced on Tuesday, but the club hierarchy held a conference call with President James Pallotta to discuss their doubts this morning.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma have instead turned to sacked Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.

He is said to be ‘enthusiastic’ about the proposal, although there are issues tied to his contract with City and wage demands.

The fans could also express their anger considering Mancini’s history as both a player and Coach at their arch-rivals Lazio.
