Argentina international Lucas Biglia, linked with Lazio, has expressed his desire to play his club football in Italy.
The capital outfit are in talks with Anderlecht over his signature and the midfielder has fuelled rumours of a switch.
“I can’t say anything really,” the 27-year-old noted to La Nacion. “But I admire the Italian championship and I’d like to play there.
“I’ve been talking to my club directors for some time in an effort for them to comprehend my desire to move on.
“They don’t want me to go, but I have explained my personal reasons for the switch and they have understood.”
Biglia was also paired with Inter earlier this year.
