Livorno claim Inter and Milan are interested in forward Paulinho – but neither can afford to sign him.
The 27-year-old grabbed 19 goals in Serie B and then netted more crucial strikes in the play-offs as the Tuscan club returned to the top flight.
“The boy is liked by both Milan and Inter,” President Aldo Spinelli told calciomercato.it. “But they lack the most important thing necessary to sign him – money!
“I’m now waiting for some important offers to be made by a number of Russian clubs.
“Once it becomes clear how much these sides want to invest then we’ll decide what to do about his future.”
Sampdoria are also keen on the player who joined the Amaranto in 2004 from Juventude.
The Brazilian has scored 48 goals in 148 games for the port club. He’s also had spells on loan with Grosseto and Sorrento.
