Palermo will not be welcoming Matias Silvestre back to the club. “Inter are forced to sign him outright.”
The Argentine defender moved on loan to the Nerazzurri last summer, but his San Siro future is in doubt after he appeared in just nine League games.
“There is no Silvestre situation and there is nothing to discuss with Inter because everything has been pre-agreed,” Palermo director Giorgio Perinetti told FC Inter News.
“Inter will be forced to complete the signing of Silvestre. They haven’t done so yet, but they will before June 20. He’ll cost €6m.”
It is unclear whether Inter will keep the player or try to sell him to another club before the start of next season.
