Matias Silvestre doesn’t seem keen on being sent to Parma as part of the deal for Ishak Belfodil. “I want to stay at Inter.”

The Argentine joined the Nerazzurri last summer on a loan agreement, but with an enforced option to buy for a further €6m.

However, the centre-back has been offered to Parma, along with Antonio Cassano, in return for young French striker Belfodil.

“Parma are chasing me? I have a contract with Inter and I intend to honour it until the end,” the South American, 28, told TMW.

“I intend to redeem myself in the new campaign and it is my desire to do that in the shirt of Inter.”

Silvestre, formerly of Catania, started in just six Serie A games for the Beneamata during the 2012-13 season.
