Italy U-21 international Giulio Donati has completed his move from Inter to Bayer Leverkusen.
The defender has been heavily linked with a move away from San Siro in recent weeks, with the Bundesliga club strongly rumoured to be the most likely destination.
And today the 23-year-old's agent has confirmed that the former Nerazzurri man will play for Sami Hyypia's men next term.
“I am very happy for Giulio,” Silvio Pagliari told reporters. “He deserves it.
“Giulio has the chance to play in bigger games and can really start his evolution as a player.”
Donati spent last season on loan at Grosseto in Serie B, playing 27 times. Bayer Leverkusen finished in third position in the Bundesliga in 2012/13 and will play in next season's Champions League.
