The agent of Cristian Chivu has revealed that the Romanian defender will meet with Inter Coach Walter Mazzarri in the coming days to discuss his future.
The veteran was plagued by injuries last term, playing just 10 League games in 2012/13.
And with rumours circulating that the new man in charge at San Siro doesn't want the 32-year-old, the player's representative has admitted that he will hope to clear up any issues with the tactician over the next few days.
“If Inter are not focusing on Chivu, then we should know,” Ioan Becali told DigiSport.
“He wants to play for Inter this season, but we will meet with Mazzarri in the coming days to clarify the position.”
