Atletico Madrid are in talks with Roma about signing Italian international striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
“There is a negotiation taking place,” FIFA agent Diego Tavano told Radio Manà Manà Sport on Wednesday. “It will be worth around €18m.
“The attacker is well liked in Spain and he just needs to find the right emotional balance because he has incredible qualities.”
Osvaldo, born in Argentina, is expected to be sold by the capital club given the doubts over his discipline.
The centre-forward, signed from Espanyol two years ago for an initial fee of €15m, has scored 27 goals in 55 League games since his arrival.
Osvaldo, however, has had his issues in the capital over the last 12 months.
He was also dropped by Italy boss Cesare Prandelli for the Confederations Cup after his actions following the Coppa Italia Final defeat to Lazio.
He insulted club Coach Aurelio Andreazzoli both on the field of play and via Twitter, while he also refused to pick up his runner-up medal post game.
