Carlos Tevez waved the Number 10 jersey at hundreds of fans as he revealed “Juventus wanted me more than Milan.”
The striker arrived in Turin this evening to complete his €12m transfer from Manchester City. He will undergo a medical either today or tomorrow before signing a three-year contract.
“I am very happy to be at Juve, as this is a great satisfaction for me,” said Tevez.
“I will say everything else in the Press conference. Juve wanted me more than Milan.”
The Argentine had been very close to Milan both in January and earlier this summer, but nothing came of the negotiations.
Tevez waved the Number 10 jersey with his name on it out of the window of the Juventus HQ, where around 300 fans are waiting.
He would become the first Juventus player to wear the shirt after Alessandro Del Piero, who left to join Sydney FC a year ago.
