Brazil and Lazio playmaker Hernanes has admitted that he would rather play Spain than Italy in the final of the Confederations Cup.
The host nation defeated Uruguay 2-1 in their semi-final on Wednesday evening, and will wait to see who comes out on top between La Roja and the Azzurri this evening in their last four clash.
But the Biancocelesti man has conceded that he would rather challenge himself against Vicente Del Bosque's team.
“Italy or Spain? I would rather face Spain,” he told reporters. “But let's wait and see what happens.
“The game against Uruguay took a lot of concentration – we showed we would never give up and ended up winning.
“With Scolari we are growing a lot.”
