“Obviously it was a struggle for many to recover after the semi-final and Emanuele Giaccherini tried, but was exhausted, so he’s not available,” the Coach told RAI Sport.
“Fortunately Daniele De Rossi, Giorgio Chiellini and Alberto Gilardino said they were ready and wanted to play, so they are in the starting XI.
“We have been forced to modify the system, but I think it is a balanced side and one that will allow us to have a good game.”
Edinson Cavani starts in attack with Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez.
“The Uruguayan forwards are very talented and we must watch out for when they go on the counter-attack. That will be crucial.
“Am I confident? Yes, absolutely.”
