But the Coach of his former club has insisted that the 34-year-old is keen to sign for Vincenzo Montella's men.
“I spoke with Stankovic even before it was confirmed that he would leave Inter”, Stojanovic told reporters.
“He answered me honestly and said that Fiorentina was his priority.
“But has also added that if the deal does not go through, he would finish his career here at Red Star.”
