There are rumours that the Rossoneri may sell the Italy international this summer and for their former creative midfielder, it is understandable speculation.

“Everything that has happened to him has happened too soon, El Shaarawy must improve before things become too predictable, everyone knows his movement now when he comes in central,” explained Boban to Sky Sports 24.

“In my opinion there is not full respect in Milan for him, not as a player or a man, but as a champion – I believe he is a very good player, but nothing more.

“Could Milan think of selling him? It seems to me that they are already considering this, Galliani has said that he is not unsellable if a great offer comes in.

“I think they could also drop the price, if not I cannot explain given his age.”

Boban was also asked to consider Juventus’ work in the summer transfer window, including Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez’ signings.

“Honestly I have not been able to decipher Llorente very well.  He’s a good player, but I do not think he is a champion.

“Certainly, though, as a central striker he can guarantee both presence and a certain number of goals. Also there is Tevez. Juventus have strengthened greatly in this area.

“They are not world class players, but they are very important players and will change Juve for the better.

“Will it increase the gap to the others? Juve have certainly worked better than the others, whilst they already have a team, a style of play, a Coach who knows how to drive his team well and a club that has established itself well in recent years.

“This is not a definitive quantum leap with respect to the big sides in Europe, but I think Juve will move even further away from the other Italian teams.”
