Ricky Kaka has indicated that his future at Real Madrid hinges on how new Coach Carlo Ancelotti intends to use him next season.
The Italian, who worked with the Brazilian playmaker during their time together in Milan, is now overseeing matters at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Kaka, who has struggled for form and fitness in the last two seasons, has been strongly linked with an exit this summer, with former side Milan thought to be one of a number of options open.
However, this week he has implied that he may still have a future in the Spanish capital.
“I have a contract, there is a new Coach and once we begin preseason we will talk for an exchange of ideas,” the 31-year-old told Brazilian media this week.
“There is a year to go until the World Cup and I hope to be there with all my heart.”
