La Repubblica have sensationally claimed that Paris Saint-Germain could offer Napoli €40m plus Zlatan Ibrahmiovic for Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay forward has been heavily linked with a move away from Stadio San Paolo this summer, with Chelsea, Real Madrid and the French champions all possible destinations.
Reports earlier this week suggested that Cavani's agent had met with the Ligue 1 team's sporting director Leonardo to thrash out a potential deal.
However, reports in Madrid-based newspaper AS insisted that the west London side were on the verge of completing a deal for the 26-year-old.
But La Repubblca believe that Laurent Blanc's men are ready to part with Ibrahimovic in order to get the Partenopei star.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis had previously stated that he would not sell the goalscorer for anything less than his €63m release clause.
