A statement on Inter's official website has claimed that the club will always hold Antonio Cassano with 'great affection'.
The striker was sold to Parma after just one season with the Nerazzurri. The San Siro side though, have thanked the 30-year-old.
“Inter can announce that we have established with Parma the outright sale of Antonio Cassano,” a statement read.
“The President Massimo Moratti and Inter are grateful to Antonio Cassano for wearing the Nrazzurri shirt and honouring it with his class.
“We will always hold him with great affection and great esteem.”
