Sergio Pellissier has officially signed a new two-year contract to stay at Chievo Verona.
The striker put pen to paper on a two-season deal this afternoon, announced the Flying Donkeys.
“Thank you to those who always believed in me. Some time on the bench did me good and I am absolutely not finished as a player.
“I care a great deal about this jersey and I didn’t like not playing. This feels like a new beginning for me.”
The 34-year-old is recovering from surgery to a torn ankle ligament in April.
Pellissier has been at Chievo since July 2000 and looks set to see out his career at the Stadio Bentegodi.
