Inter officially signed Mauro Icardi, but it is only a co-ownership agreement with Sampdoria.
The fact Icardi would be playing for Inter this season had been no secret for several months and he was already at their pre-season training camp this week.
However, the contract was only formalised this afternoon with an announcement on the Nerazzurri website.
No financial details have been released, but the statement did reveal Icardi is still part-owned by Sampdoria.
