And the 33-year-old has insisted that the San Siro are going to be ready for the new campaign, whilst also commenting on youngster Mateo Kovacic.
“We are working really hard on the field,” he told Sportitalia. “That's nothing new for this team, but we are doing all we can on strength and tactics.
“Mazzarri has got results with a three-man defence for a long time, so I hope we continue with it.
“I really like Kovacic. He did well last year, but it is one thing seeing him on TV, and another up close.”
