Cagliari striker Marco Sau has revealed that the club's only objective for this season is to stay in the top-flight.
The Isolani finished the 2012/13 campaign in 11th place, but the 25-year-old has insisted that the team can't get ahead of themselves.
“We are aiming for salvation,” he told reporters. “And to do that we have to strengthen the squad.
“As we saw last year, we are strong as a collective.
“We managed to stay up despite many difficulties.
“But I hope on a personal level that I can continue to improve my performances.”
Sau managed to bag 12 goals in 30 appearances during last term.
