Relegated Pescara insist Udinese target Ivan Pelizzoli is not for sale. “We will extend his contract.”
The 32-year-old has been linked with a possible move to the Bianconeri this summer given their need for a new goalkeeper.
However, Pescara President Daniele Sebastiani has told Forza Pescara that the former Atalanta and Roma net-minder is going nowhere.
“Pelizzoli is not moving,” he underlined. “He is happy to stay here with us and we will be extending his contract, even for two years.”
Pelizzoli’s present deal expires in June 2014.
He appeared in 11 Serie A games last term given that young Mattia Perin was considered as first choice for most of the season.
