Juventus have officially sold Felipe Melo to Galatasaray for €3.75m after a lengthy tug-of-war.
The 30-year-old Brazilian midfielder had spent the last two seasons in Istanbul on loan, but Galatasaray did not take up their option to make the move permanent.
Weeks of wrangling over the price-tag and terms of an agreement have finally concluded with an announcement this morning.
Juventus have officially sold Felipe Melo to Galatasaray for €3.75m, plus a potential €0.5m in performance-related bonuses.
Melo joined Juve from Fiorentina for €25m in July 2009, but in two seasons in Turin failed to make much of an impact.
