Adriano Galliani believes Roma “made a great deal” signing Kevin Strootman, but Milan won’t buy any strikers this summer.
On Friday the Giallorossi completed Strootman’s transfer from PSV Eindhoven for €16.5m.
“We had tracked Strootman, but did not have €20m,” Milan Vice-President Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
“Roma made a great deal, as this is a player of the very highest level.”
He was also asked whether the Rossoneri would be investing on new strikers despite the failure of Robinho’s attempted move to Santos.
“We are not looking for any forwards, because we already have someone like Giampaolo Pazzini in the squad.”
