Newly promoted Livorno have confirmed they are attempting to sign Leandro Greco from Greek outfit Olympiacos.
“We are in discussions with Olympiacos about the boy,” Amaranto sporting director Stefano Capozucca told TMW.
“We will have to see how the situation evolves over the next few days and if there are the conditions in place to sign him.”
The 27-year-old only joined his present club a year ago, from hometown outfit Roma, when he accepted a three-year contract.
The midfielder has also appeared for Astrea, Verona, Pisa and Piacenza in Italian football.
