Sassuolo Coach Eusebio Di Francesco has downplayed the significance of winning the Trofeo TIM.
The newly promoted outfit beat Juventus and Milan to the trophy on Tuesday night, but the former Roma midfielder is keeping his feet on the ground.
“I’m happy, but this is July football and it only counts for so much,” he noted. “Now we have to keep working hard, in the knowledge that we must remain humble.
“As well as the victory, I’m happy with what the team did out there on the field of play – they played with mentality and desire.
“At the moment we are a fairy tale, but we now want to become a Serie A reality.”
