Toni's Verona beat Feyenoord

Luca Toni gave Serie A new boys Hellas Verona a prestigious 1-0 friendly victory over Feyenoord.

Former Fiorentina striker Toni got the only goal of the game in Trento this evening.

It took him only seven minutes to find the target, controlling a long Moras pass and firing in with his left foot.

Goalkeeper Rafael needed several saves to deny Graziano Pelle and Vilhena, while Daniele Cacia tested the Feyenoord shot-stopper.

In the final minute, Albertazzi only skimmed a corner with his header, going very close to 2-0.
