Chievo Verona are in no rush to sign Ezequiel Schelotto after the latter was frozen out of the Inter squad.
The two clubs are discussing a possible transfer, but Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori won’t be pushed into making a move.
“The situation is at a standstill for now,” he told Sport Italia. “We are currently evaluating who we have in our squad at this moment in time before moving the negotiations on.”
The 23-year-old joined Inter in January from Atalanta, but he was dropped from the squad for pre-season training by new boss Walter Mazzarri.
The Argentine-born Italian international scored one goal in 12 League appearances for the Beneamata in the last campaign.
