“Honda can talk to other clubs about his future, but for the moment he cannot leave unless there is a suitable offer,” President Yevgeni Giner told the Russian media.

“There are rumours of proposals that reach €1.5m-€2m, but this is not a solution that is useful for us. He is an important player for us and can help us earn €2m if we get through the Champions League play-offs.

“Besides, if he plays at his best, then he could earn himself a better contract. He might not necessarily end up at Milan at all.”
