Malaga and Valencia have joined Tottenham and Inter in the race for Roma striker Marco Borriello.

The forward was left out of the Giallorossi squad for their tour of America and Canada, fuelling reports of an imminent exit.

He returned to the Stadio Olimpico after a loan spell at Genoa, but is not part of Rudi Garcia’s plans.

There had already been reports that Borriello had turned down an offer from Tottenham, while Inter are also linked.

Now La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests Spanish clubs Malaga and Valencia are joining the race for the 31-year-old.

It is believed Borriello’s price-tag is €7m, although a loan with option to buy is also on the table.
