Napoli impress Terim

Galatasaray play Napoli tomorrow and Fatih Terim can see “they want to win this season.”

The former Fiorentina and Milan Coach returned to Turkey and will lead his side out at the San Paolo in a friendly on Monday evening.

“Napoli have signed many important players and did very well on the transfer market,” Terim told Sky Sport Italia.

“Rafa Benitez is a great Coach and Gonzalo Higuain an excellent striker. In recent years I have seen Napoli grow. Aurelio De Laurentiis did a wonderful job and I’m sure they can be Scudetto challengers this season.

“Napoli often finish in the top four, but this time they want to win.”

Terim was also impressed by developments elsewhere, such as at Juventus, Milan and Fiorentina.

“It’s pleasing to see the champions coming back to Serie A, as the League needs players like Carlos Tevez or Mario Gomez.

“Fiorentina want to win. Last season we played a friendly against them and I liked the way they played, so Vincenzo Montella is a great Coach.

“As for Milan, they have Mario Balotelli. He is young and very talented. Every now and then he makes a mistake, but that’s normal considering his age.”
