Inter have made no move to sign Saphir Taider this summer, Bologna official Roberto Zanzi has underlined.
“Inter have not contacted us with regards to Taider,” the sporting director told TMW on Monday morning.
“The President has already spoken on the matter by declaring that he wants to keep the player here with us.
“Therefore, there is little to add on the matter.”
Reports are suggesting that the Stadio Dall’Ara outfit value the Algerian international at a massive €20m.
“I don’t know about prices,” Zanzi added. “The transfer market dictates the value of a player. But he remains an important element for us.”
Taider is a 21-year-old midfielder who arrived at the Rossoblu in 2011 from Grenoble.
The player was briefly co-owned by the Serie A side and Juventus, until Bologna bought back the Old Lady’s 50 per cent share in him.
