Chievo Verona don’t expect to do a deal for Inter’s Ezequiel Schelotto until the second half of August.
“There is nothing new to report on Schelotto,” Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori told FC Inter News.
“It is certainly a situation that we are evaluating, but everything is still up in the air right now,” continued the official.
“There may be some developments after Ferragosto [August 15].”
Schelotto is looking for a new club after being frozen out of the set-up at San Siro by new boss Walter Mazzarri.
The latter dropped the midfielder, who was only signed from Atalanta in January, from pre-season training.
The 23-year-old, an Argentine-born Italian international, scored one goal in 12 League appearances for the Beneamata in the last campaign.
