Fernando Llorente says he has been surprised by the compactness of the Juventus squad following his summer arrival.
The Spanish international has joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer after his contract at Athletic Bilbao expired.
“It is a magnificent, an incredible group,” he told the Juventus website in a club video. “It has been a real surprise.
“It’s not something you’d usually find in a team with such great players,” added the outfit’s new centre-forward.
“Perhaps other teams have excellent players like ours, but it’s different here. Everyone is friends and great teammates. I feel really good here.”
Llorente is currently with the Italian champions in USA, ahead of their Guinness International Champions Cup campaign.
“I feel well,” Llorente continued. “I’m really happy to be here in San Francisco and America.
“I believe it will be a very good tour. We begin against Everton and I think they’ll be a useful first test for us.”
The two teams will meet at the AT&T Park tomorrow.
