Parma forward Antonio Cassano has admitted that he is looking forward to facing former club Sampdoria when the new season starts.
The fixture list for the new Serie A campaign was released on Monday evening, with the Bluerchiati playing the Crociati on Week 17 just before Christmas.
And the striker has claimed it will be a special occasion for him, whilst also commenting on tomorrow night’s friendly with Olympique Marseille.
“Friendly matches do not exist for me,” he told a Press conference. “I always play to win, even in training.
“The fixtures? The special game for me is the one with Sampdoria.
“I have a very strong bond with that club and the city of Genoa.”
