Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has admitted that the club face a tough first three fixtures next term.
The Grifone are set to play Inter, Fiorentina and Sampdoria in the opening weeks of the 2013/14 campaign.
And the chief has insisted that the side are up against it from the off, whilst also commenting on the future of Andreas Granqvist.
“We are expecting a demanding challenge from Inter, Fiorentina and Sampdoria,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“It is important for us that we start off on the right foot though.
“Granqvist is thinking only about Genoa. I have not talked to anyone about him.”
