Porto striker Jackson Martinez has admitted he is happy in Portugal despite rumours of a potential move to Napoli.

The Colombia international has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Partenopei this summer, but the goalscorer has insisted he would like to stay at the Dragoes.

The Colombia international has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Partenopei this summer, but the goalscorer has insisted he would like to stay at the Dragoes.

“From the first day I arrived here the team have made me feel part of the group,” he told Goal.com.

“Porto is a club that welcomes players. I learnt a lot about the club from the likes of James Rodriguez and Fredy Guarin.

“Portuguese football has improved a lot – there are different systems and a lot of quality.

“I am happy to have won the confidence of the Coach and my teammates  – they have helped me so much.”
