The Giallorossi surprisingly announced they have signed 32-year-old Brazilian Babù, whose full name is Anderson Rodney De Oliveira, from Paganese.
He is 32 years old and spent most of his playing career in Lega Pro with clubs like Atletico Roma, Latina, Avellino, Catania and Hellas Verona.
Meanwhile, Benzema’s agent has denied reports of negotiations between Roma and Real Madrid.
“No, I never spoke to anyone from Roma, nor have they contacted me to start negotiations,” Karim Djaziri told Radio Manà Manà.
“It is pure fantasy. Roma are a great club, but how would it be possible for Karim to leave a club like Real Madrid?
“These are just transfer rumours. Karim is happy to play for the Blancos and will remain in Spain.”
