Cagliari say there are no developments with regards to the future of in-demand goalkeeper Michael Agazzi.

The custodian, 29, has been linked with an exit this summer given his contract situation with the Rossoblu.

Agazzi has just a year left on his present agreement which would make him available on a free transfer next summer if he doesn’t pen an extension.

“At this moment in time there is nothing new to report,” Cagliari sporting director Nicola Salerno commented.

“The situation is at a halt. As it stands, however, the player is going nowhere.”

The shot-stopper had an impressive 2012-13 campaign which resulted in him being called up to the Italian national squad for the first time.

Fiorentina have been named as a possible destination for the former Sassuolo and Triestina player.
