Cagliari President Massimo Cellino insists he won’t sell his stars, although “Davide Astori could leave if he asks me to.”

The Sardinians have been repeatedly mentioned this summer with clubs eager to snap up players like Radja Nainggolan, Victor Ibarbo and Michele Agazzi.

“I am not selling anyone, not even Agazzi,” Cellino told Sport Mediaset.

“Astori is the only one who could leave, but only if he asks me to. If he wants to stay, then I’ll send Lorenzo Ariaudo out on loan so he can play more regularly.”

Defender Astori is valued at around €12m and has been linked with Napoli, Milan, Inter, Sunderland and Southampton.

The Cagliari President also confirmed they are returning to the Stadio Sant’Elia “from September 21” after a deal was struck with the local council to begin restructuring work.

Before then, their home games will be played at the Stadio Nereo Rocco in Trieste.
